  First impressions do not do justice to this hotel. I booked a junior suite because of the great price and found myself with a spacious, quiet, comfort room overlooking the garden/terrace.   First of all, the owner. She's by far the friendliest host I've had in a Hotel: she works hard to make you feel comfortable and relaxed and she helps you to enjoy your stay at Veliko Tarnovo.   The owner was very friendly and helpful. He kept in contact with us prior to our arrival and waited for us at the hotel where he had a parking space for us. He could not do enough for us on our arrival and even offered us a free upgrade for two nights.
