Sofia Hotels

We stayed in the Hotel Niky for just one night in May 2009. We had been staying in a more remote town but with an early flight out decided to stay in Sofia the evening prior. Given the short stay we weren't too fussed about our accommodation but it turned out to be a delight! We were greeted by very helpful staff and our room was large, clean and airy. It also offered a huge amount of storage space (large wardrobe and plenty of other cupboards). Located just a short walk from the main shoppi - Philip

Great hotel. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Hotel is in a quiet area near Alexander Nevsky and easy walking distance to all the main sights. Helpful staff, and the hotel offer a transfer service to the airport, well worth using it.. Breakfast ok, nothing special but adequate. - Stuart

I just returned from 2 days in Sofia, where I stayed at the Central Park. I travel to Sofia quite often on business. It is the first time I have stayed at the Central Park, because the other hotel we usually use has decided to price itself out of the market. As it was my first stay at this new hotel, I was very apprehensive about what to expect. What a pleasant surprise! The hotel is immaculate, very clean, and very centrally located. Personnel was nice and helpful, spoke English well. Room size was OK, very clean, nice bathroom. Food quality was satisfactory. TV small but worked well, many channels including international, including BBC and TV5. Convenient location near public transportation. - Anonymous

We went to Borovets the first week of the Easter Holidays and had a fantastic time, the weather was lovely, the snow was good and it was quite quiet on the slopes. We stayed at the Hotel Lion which is a 15 min walk from the gondola station, a bit far out but after a hard days skiing it was a nice way to stretch out your tired muscles and walk back. The Hotel was lovely and the staff were lovely, very accomodating especially when there wasn`t many people at the Hotel, they decided not to put the - Celia

Radisson Blu has a very good position in the center of Sofia. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the same goes for the bathroom. The service in the hotel is adequate to the hotel rating. The breakfast is very good, with lot of choises and it is served in the ground floor restaurant with a nice garden up front. The main pedestrian area, Vitosha Str. is near by, some 5-10 minutes walk in the old part of Sofia, where you can find a lot of nice coffe bars and restaurants. For lunch or dinner I wo - Gavin

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and I just loved it!!nice big rooms, clean bathroom,very helpful personnel,good breakfast ,and the rates we paid with booking on internet were very good comparing with the ones the hotel actually has.. so book it online if you ever go there!the only problem we had was that everytime we took a shower the bathroom was kind of floating, I guess they have some problems with the plumming but i really don't care about that..although it is situated on a busy street t - Tim
