Golden Sands Hotels

We arrived at the check in desk on Sunday 11th oct. at about 7.30 P.M . and to our surprise contrary to other reviews We found the front desk staff were very cordial and friendly to welcome us and asked if it was our first visit to Bulgaria and after the check in formalities wished us pleasant stay. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was almost same everyday . Lunch was excellent food different menu every day. I liked very much the hotel staff, the services were extraordinary and the food was very very good. The hotel is very clean and very well maintained. The room was big and bright, with a big balcony.There is a "all you can eat" restaurant and three other "a la carte" restaurants (Asian, Italian, Bulgarian), and I'm sure anybody with any taste can find something to eat. - Linda

We returned yesterday from our third visit in the 4 years this hotel has been open. The staff are all very pleasant and do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. The animation team led by Valor, a really nice boy worked very hard. The food was great and the gala dinner held last Wednesday was out of this world. The presentation was first class, beyond 5 star, a banquet fit for a king. The hotel also celebrated its 4th birthday while we were there with live music, special cocktails and - Ali

i have already written a reveiw about my trip to bulgaria where i stayed in the hotel chaika... my mum visited the bonita that year and a lady invited them into her room and my mum was amazed, compared to our room it was huge! and clean! the towels were big and fluffy and brilliant white! my mum was in love, so we booked up for 6th -20th august 2005 to stay at the bonita for 2 weeks! we got there at 2am and were greeted by freezing cold orange juice which was the refreshment we all needed! w - Symon

We have just returned from Bulgaria, the Hotel Kristal is a great Hotel. It was always kept clean & tidy. Food was great, plenty of choice. Staff were friendly & very helpful, especially the porter and "Nickolai" the barman. Rooms are big, hotel itself very quiet. We will be going to the Hotel Kristal again soon. - John

my wife and i stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and enjoyed every day,the food was good and many choices only problem is ts not hot like us brits like it,but apparenly this is norm in bulgaria,the staff was efficient and friendly,there was no language problems,mary and dessi who work in the mezzanine bar on the second floor made us welcome from day 1,they could not do enough for us they are an asset to the hotel,i hope there at the hotel when we go again,thers a good little snack bar on the beach - Robert

This is a good standard hotel for Bulgaria (5*) having stayed in Bulgaria 3 years ago you definately need a 4* accomodation or above. Hotel Admiral is locatied right in the centre of the resort with the beach being right on the doorstep so great if you have kids.There are loads of pools in Golden Sands to use which are all in walking distance of this hotel. The food was excellent and always plentiful, the staff were always very helpful. Rooms were cleaned daily and the hotel was kept clean and t - David
