Was great to have English speaking receptionists and that they understood straight away any issues we had..which were only a couple. The beds were really comfortable (which I knew the make, could do with one at home) Breakfast was the 'bees knees' excellent setup for the day ahead. We were just 5 minutes walk from the Copacabana beach, also near to Sugar Loaf, a lot of taxis to get anywhere in Rio. Even in the morning rush hour the transfer to the airport took only some 20 minutes. We had a very big and comfortable room with two(!) TV screens, one big table to sit around and to eat, and a smaller one with ratan "sofa" to enjoy e.g. a coffee or drink, i. e. very unusual and luxury for that price! Helpful staff at the reception, with bell-boy. Very good breakfast. Very good

Excellent value; the presidential suite was really nice. I loved the stylish, fairly modern but comfortable style of decoration. The bathroom with jacuzzi/sauna was top-notch and the bedroom was perfect.

Fantastic hotel and close to Copacabana beach and other attractions. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly too. Breakfast was really good too and the room was nice and the bathroom was great also. Nice pool at the top of the hotel too and view. -

We couldn't fault our stay here. The rooms were lovely and they even upgraded us from a standard to a superior suite. The roof top pool was a little oasis in the middle of rio and had fantastic views over the ocean. Staff and breakfast were great. The location was perfect for anyone wishing to stay at copacobana- right behind the copacobana palace (nicest hotel in rio) but for 1/2 the price. Highly recommend.

The hotel is modern, beautiful desingn inside and outside. Great
location and not too far from airport, shops and it's right in front
of the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was really good and
quite cheap. The pool area is lovely but they should put more lounges,
it was only few and not enough for everyone so if you wanna sunbath you
better get there early. Rooms very well desingned and big with a
gorgeous view to the sea.

Professionalism of staff-English speaking staff at front desk 24 hours daily during our stay-Dec.18-21,2013. My wife suddenly became ill during the middle of the night and the staff directed us to a 24 hour clinic only two blocks away with an English speaking Doctor leaving us very satisfied with the service provided by the hotel and the clinic. -

The reception staff spoke English and were very helpul in advising and assisting with tours, bookings of taxis and general advice. The room staff were very efficient and the restaurant was great with both breakfasts, and al a carte meals for dinner. The location, one street back from the beach at Copacobana was excellent.
