Sao Paulo Hotels

I have to be honest, I'm sure this is not the best hotel in Sao Paulo, but I can assure you something, for the price I got (US$ 70 per night) this hotel is not just a good but a great place to stay at Sao Paulo. This is located in the Jardins neighborhood, one of the hottest spots in Sao Paulo, near of Oscar Freire Street (5 blocks), Ibirapuera Park (10 blocks) and Paulista Avenue (5 blocks), where you can find a metro station. Best Value and Location - 2009-11-25 I stayed there before and after the remodeling.... The rooms are all ready now, the pool and reception areas should be completed by the end of the year... Great location (best area in Sao Paulo for Shopping - walking distance), restaurants, service, free Internet wifi, and fantastic value... One block from Ave Paulista!!!! The newly remodeled rooms are something...queen size beds typical of what you find in the US. This hotel is really 4 stars. - Ken

My mother and I were in Sao Paulo for over a week. This hotel was not too expensive and in a safe area. There were a few gripes - but really nothing that doesn't happen elsewhere. I had booked a twin room and got a queen but that was sorted out quickly. Location was good - near the Museum and the main drag through the city but it depends what you wanted to do. If I stayed in Sao Paulo again and wanted to go shopping I would definitely stay in the Jardins area but that is really not too far - Andrew

We got to this hotel late after a long flight and the staff were very efficient. When we wished to change the room, the staff moved us immediately. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was very nice. The rooms are clean and spacious. Good location - great cafe on the corner, Bella Paulista. Only negative - Swimming pool is a large bath! - Steven

I spent one night in Summer 2007 in this hotel for business, and I found it very convenient. This was one night after the dramatic accident in the Congonhas airport.... The rooms are very confortable and the staff nice. THe restaurant is not great. - Stephen

This hotel is pretty much the same as other Parthenons (from Accor Hotels). The room is very clean and you can barely hear the noise from the constructions in the back of the hotel. I stay at Parthenon The Must every year to attend an event at Via Funchal, just next door to the hotel. In the room you have free high-speed Internet connection, but the wi-fi signal doesn't reach above the 2nd, 3rd floor. The taxi from the airport (Congonhas) costs approximately R$ 20,00 and takes around 15 minutes - Keith

I spent only one night here in May 2006. Hotel staff was excellent - and they accomodated my poor Portuguese but spoke English well. Room was clean - small of course - but perfect for a business hotel. High speed internet access was available - pick up the box at front desk. I enjoyed an excellent meal at the restaurant one night. A nice onion soup followed by a perfectly roasted herb chicken - plus two liters of beer for about $18 USA. I thought this to be a fair deal for a hotel. S - Yvonne
