We experienced no noise. - The Star Hotel in Salzburg was brilliant! its location to the city,via a walk through a pedestrian tunnel puts you within a hundred metres of the main shopping area.Our room was spotlessly clean and although it overlooked the main road into the city we did not experience any roadnoise.The staff were always very polite and smiling(a rare commodity these days).

Reception staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel is located in a less crowded area near a highway and near a MacDonalds. Beds very comfortable. Very clean linen. Free parking. the reception staff (in particular the tall guy with dark hair, who gave us great advices on where to go to eat) was perfect; the rooms were clean and comfortable; the location of the hotel was far from the city, but the centre was easily connected by the bus stop n. 21, right in front of the hotel.
