  Close to Wynyard station Lady at reception was lovely and helped me with my bags, toddler, portacot etc, she loaded me onto the trolley, including my son in his carseat and helped us unload into our room. She had a NZ accent and was wearing a grey shirt when she checked in. She was great and deserves recognition!! On the Sunday there was a brunett... what people say » e lady (looked young, maybe mid twenties) who was very helpful to me and my son and held the lift as I arranged him and my groceries in the early afte - We stayed in a deluxe 2 bedroom, one bathroom apartment with our 3 kids including a baby in a portacot. The apartment was fabulous, very clean and spacious and extremely comfortable for all of us. Our kids loved the heated pool and spa. Excellent location and easy walking distance to the main attractions and with Wynyard station around the corner, getting to Bondi or anywhere else was a breeze. We will definately stay here again and recommend to others.

  The sucurity was of high standard. Staff were welcoming and prompt. Easy to find and great access from street. Very clean and well equipped mini bar. Love the freedom of having the kitchenette in the room. Love the fact I don't have to step over and into a bath/spa to have a shower! I liked the newspaper, definitely a great extra. Didn't hear any external noise from our room. - the friendly and professional staff; the size of the studio apartment was surprisingly very large and very comfortable; the restaurant in the hotel and the cafe next door were excellent and value for money. Room was clean; bed was comfortable; shower was excellent and the radio worked! A working radio is a rarity among hotels these days

The location was vey suitable for us and the acco,mmodation was moder, very spacious,clean with godd front desk attitude. I was pleasantly surprised that a note I put in our booking about the weekend stay being for my girlfriend's birthday meant that by the time we checked in, we had already received a complimentary upgrade to a beach view. The extra attention and little touches we received from Novotel's staff made all the differenc - The staff at the front desk and the concierge were amazingly helpful and great to deal with. Even when I had to go late at night to get something from my car the concierge happily assisted me. When the lady checking us in realised we were in a group she immediately gave us rooms close to each other.   We enjoyed our stay at the Meriton in Kent Street very much. It is nicer and cleaner than a similar priced apartment hotel nearby that we had previously stayed in. The hotel - We were really happy with the apartments. We stayed in a studio- it was a good size with contemporary decor and furnishings and view to the street. It had thoughtful touches like a coffee plunger, and complimentary dishwasing tablets and clothes washing machine liquid. The staff were great - the concierge noticed we were exhausted after catching an overnight flight and (without being asked) arranged for a room cleaned so we cleaned so we could check in early.   Modern rooms, very clean. Self-contained units--everything you need to cook and do laundry. They even supply laundry/dishwasher soap daily. Excellent location, very quick walk to Town Hall and Museum (no lifts) stops. Our family of 3, including a 14 month old, had no problems traveling to/from the airport on the train with our bags from this hotel... what people say » . The cot the hotel provided for our 14 mo son was fine. He slept in it without complaint. Complementary internet was very good. 1GB/day and excellen - The views were great and accommodated the 5 of us very well. The shops, the Rocks and Darling Harbour were literally on the door stop. Staff were friendly and very helpful - I had accidentally left a make up bag behind and called up 10 days later to see if I had left it behind. It was found in housekeeping and promptly mailed back to me. I would recommend the Meriton on Pitt street to everyone, my friends and I are already planning our next girls trip and happy to have our accommodation sorted!

  Although the units we joined there was a sense of privacy. Parking was close to the room. The children had plenty of space. The unit was easy to 'live in'. The gym and pool were an added bonus.   We arrived from our cruise ship early in the morning and the receptionist immediatly said she would contact houskeeping and see how long it would be before we could book in. We went down town for a couple of hours and when we got back the room was ready for us. They had stored our baggage safely for us while we were away. The bathrom was huge and if we had been stay - We loved how close the hotel was to everything - Darling Harbour, Town Hall Station, QVB. The hotel was well maintained, the rooms quite soundproof when the balcony doors are closed. Also loved that there was a balcony so that you were not confined to an air conditioned box - fresh air was able to be let in. Was also great that the accommmodation was an apartment so we could make our own meals if we wanted and also wash and dry clothes, which was a blessing as hwe got drenched by the rain on

The reception staff were very considerate in giving us a quiet room at the back of the motel at the last minute. The surrounds of the motel were also very cle... what people say » an. We would certainly go back again. - Location was close to North Shore Private Hospital, the reason for our visit, but also close to public transport for other purposes. There was adequate free parking, not always the case in Sydney. The staff were extremely helpful and the restaurant served great food for breakfast and dinner.
