Location!!!! It was extremely convenient. Opera house was a 2-minute walk away. Both the train and ferry stations were at the hotel's doorstep. We paid extra for the harbor view and it was we... what people say » ll worth it. There were many restaurants at the harbor as well which was great.
All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it. -
I loved the view, and the good sized balcony. I loved that there was extra milk in the fridge, most places I always have to ask for more, though there wasn't enough sugar (we are big coffee drinkers). The spa didn't work so they gave us free dinner in the restaurant as a compromise, loved that! oh and the bottle of bubbly sent up to the room after i mentioned we were celebrating my hubby's 60th birthday was just lovely, thank you! :) very happy

We stayed in the Deluxe King Room for 2 nights. The room was very spacious, clean and the second we stepped into the room we felt we were staying in luxury. The full breakfast we had booked with the room was amazing. So much range. Above all the staff were courteous and always made you feel welcome and as if we were regular customers to the hotel. The location was fantastic, very easy to find your way to many of Sydney's activities. The hotel itself blended the historical building with ultra modern fittings tastefully. The bedroom was adequate and the ensuite was a decent size. The shower was large. The room we stayed in was able to be dark with the blinds down for a sleep in. We arrived at the hotel before check-in time, but had no problem getting to our room. Very comfortable and quiet hotel in an excellent location. Staff offered us a reasonably priced upgrade to a harbour view room which we accepted. Beautiful room on a high floor and lovely view. Great bathroom with separate shower which I prefer. We had a room service late snack which arrived promptly. We had obtained a smartdeal for the Four Season for our last trip to Sydney. Apart from the value for money, the hotel was in a great location for a city visit to Sydney, pleasant staff, very comfy room, excellent house-keeping, L'occtaine toiletries and we took advantage of the gym and outdoor heated pool too. Some reviews had complained the hotel is dated. I wouldn't agree. Very enjoyable stay, we will be back.
