I’m very glad that we choose to stay at the Sileo Hotel for the week we spent in Buenos Aires. The hotel itself is a little gem located in Recoleta, the nicest part of Buenos Aires. The Sileo was everything advertised. Great location, very friendly staff, very clean and comfortable room.
The Sileo is a smaller boutique hotel probably more suited to couples without kids but it has a more intimate feel which we thought added to the charm. The location is great as it's on a quieter street around the cemetery. We had the most amazing view of the cemetery. We would absolutely stay there again if we were back in Buenos Aires.

The staff was very courteous and helpful no matter our requests. My friend and i accidentally locked our hotel room safe three times and the hotel manager came by repeatedly to unlock the safe, assuring us that it's okay despite our troubling him.

The hostal is an old colonial building. It has original features and large shuttered windows, it is beautiful and is walking distance to the antiques market, bars and main areas while feeling vey local and not overly touristy. The owners and the people that worked there were friendly and accomodating especially Pablo and even the surly but caring Muigel. There was another very nice man there but I didn't get his name.
