Buenos Aires 5* star luxury Hotels

The professional, accommodating staff at this hotel made our stay a very pleasant one indeed. We have stayed at plenty 4 and 5 star hotels and I must say the staff at this hotel surpassed all. Now the room: They are not big, but adequate, although I did see one that was being cleaned and it appeared small. The rooms are very clean and the beds are very confortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. and the watiers were always filling your coffee cup. Next door to the hotel is an absolutely won - Paul

We just returned from Argentina and spent 6 nights at the Casasur in a standard room. The room size was a little small but was decorated quite nicely. Excellent bed and a wonderful shower. The best part of this hotel, apart from it's location 2 blocks from the cemetery (around the corner from the Alvear Palace Hotel, is the staff. They are just wonderful from the maids to the general manager. The front desk staff are very helpful and a pleasure to speak to. Overall, they made the hotel seem l - Yalini

We stayed here one night en route to Patagonia. Staff was super friendly and accomodating as we have always found at Sheratons throughout the world (we are Starwood members). We had an interesting view of the port across the street, super comfortable king bed and large bathroom with bidet. Location was good, very close to Calle Florida with shops; Tienda de Leon bus terminal one block away and also the Plaza San Martin subway stop. We were here for a 3 night stay in December 2008, traveling with a Tauck Tour through South America. Just blying in from the LLao LLao Resort at Bariloche, Tauck chooses only the very best of the best. We chose to upgrade to a suite for only $50 more per night. It was much bigger with many more amenities, truly a good value. Everything was 1st class including the attitude of the staff. Might I mention we are very particular. We had a short, 2 night stay at Hotel Ultra and loved it. Location is fantastic - lots of great bars and restaurants very very close by and excellent shopping, mainly local brands. It was easy to get to other parts of the city. The hotel itself we thought very stylish and comfortable - public spaces like the lobby and bar are well designed and the rooms were very spacious - we did have a king size room but it was very large, with a good view over the courtyard in the back. The last time I stayed at the Marriott Plaza in BA. The Sol Melia has them beat hands down. Great room, food, workout center (indoor pool), staff was very helpful once you break the ice with them. This hotel is centrally located, very nice restuarants across the street if you want to eat something other than hotel food. One of the few places I've been where the AC was perfect. Tight security and I didn't pay for anything I didn't like. Definately , recommend to anyone staying in BA. Last, the st - Colin

This is one of my favorite hotels in Buenos Aires. It is centrally located (close to Florida Ave and the Pink House) and has all the essential ammenities: free wireless internet, free breakfast, modern rooms and cable tv. I love the free breakfast which includes a continental breakfast buffet, espresso drinks and omelets. The staff is friendly. The gym is small, but there is so much to do in Buenos Aires that spending time in a gym seems wasteful. It also has a outside pool which I think it is o - Sean
