  Das ganze Haus war sehr sauber und hat angenehm gerochen. Nicht nach Reinigungsmitteln und auch nicht nach kaltem Rauch sondern nach Spanien, so wie ich gewohnt bin. Ich habe mich in der Frischen Bettwaesche sofort wohl gefuehlt und einen wunderbaren schlaf gehabt. Das angekuendigte Gemeinschaftsbad war sehr geraeumig und sauber.   We loved everything: the facilities, the staff, the location. The staff were really friendly. They were willing to accommodate you. We booked primarily for just 6 nights, and ended up staying there for our whole vacation in Valencia (14 nights). The room was very spacious and it was cleaned every day.   I ist just an amazing place :) You live in a side street (so it's pretty calm compared to the general noise in Valencia) and you are close to everytning. All what we needed was in walking distance. They rent also bicycles (we got 10% discount). We cycled to the beach and to the Albufera reserve (It was really worth the effort). Centrally located, it is an ideal base when exploring the city and the surrounding areas. I opted for my own bathroom which was well worth the additional 4 euros per day. I'm often concerned about security in Hostels but this was diminished in El Cid completely - I felt comfortable leaving my belongings in my room when out and about.
