The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole time we stayed. The apartments are clean and were cleaned every day. We also got clean sheets and towels every day. Great facilities in the room. Has microwave, TV, coffee maker, toaster, fridge, hob and all crockery and cutlery you'll need. Room was spacious and comfortable. Great location. The Bungalows Bandama are situated 5 min walk from the beautiful beach and 2 min from the shops and restaurands. I can recommend the restaurant La Marisma, which is just round the corner - excellent staff and delicious food. The apartments are large and clean. The kitchen area could be better equiped, but if you do not plan to cook complicated dishes it's enough. There is no barbecue, but we used a disposable one. This was our 4th stay at Las Gaviotas, our 2nd with our 2 teenagers and 12 year old. On our previous 3 trips we had a bungalow in bloque 1 right on the prom. This time when we arrived they were fully booked up and we had a bungalow in bloque 5 which consists of only 6 bungalows and was a 12-15 minute walk from the prom and even further from the shops and restaurants. The pool here was not heated so we asked to be moved and 2 days after we arrived we moved to bloque 8, also known as Las Cascadas. - Alistair

I can't really fault Hyde Park Lane - the accomodation was modern, light and well equipped, the staff helpful when we asked for something, the swimming pool close by and the beach not far away either. Unfortunately we were very unlucky with the weather - apparently this year was the worst weather in 30 years. Of the 10 days we went, it was sunny for about 4 and the rest of the time it was cold, wet and windy - booooo! So my advice would be don't go at this time of year. Just returned from staying at Villa no. 6 don rafael puerto de carman, lanzarote. We all had a great holiday, these villa's are perfect in every way with the extra bonus of your own private pool. Our kids 8 and 12 just loved the freedom and space they found at the villa.Location was great 10mins walk to main shopping centre or beach front with plenty of shops, bars and fine restaurants. There was a little bit of an uphill walk back to villa but for a small cost just in a taxi average 3euros. Mai - Saskia
