It has bus stop number 62 within a few metres and for 1.5 euros each way you can enjoy a 25 minute or so trip shared with the locals and also along someh of the tourist bus route. The staff were really friendly. They were willing to accommodate you. We booked primarily for just 6 nights, and ended up staying there for our whole vacation in Valencia (14 nights).

Casual Hostel was definitely unique, in a good way. Never met any staff, as the entrance was automated with an ATM type machine to get the key. The decor of the rooms is very fun, and gives a good vibe. The room was clean and the bed huge and comfortable. Nice mini-muffins by the bed on entry and nice printed directions to sites and transportation provided. Great value.

The hostel is very basic but practical and ideal for those on a budget.
Centrally located, it is an ideal base when exploring the city and the
surrounding areas. I opted for my own bathroom which was well worth the
additional 4 euros per day. I'm often concerned about security in
Hostels but this was diminished in El Cid completely - I felt
comfortable leaving my belongings in my room when out and about.
