  I booked a one week stay, B&B in a single room hoping for a relaxing holiday after a busy few months at work. On arrival check in was easy and very friendly. Then came the part I had dreaded. (As a single traveller, on occasions rooms elsewhere have been little more than a broom cupboard with a view of the bins...!). Breakfast had ever - The idea of four hotels and facilities accessible to every resident and not even having to get wet or cold (march 2013)brr!   I liked the indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym. My wife was also impressed with the spa treatments. The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that we could book an apartment at the hotel, so we could prepare our own meals.   I liked everything, they were very welcoming and as I was travelling alone I felt very relaxed there. The room was large and comfy and the dining room was most welcoming. I only had breakfast at the hotel but this was very nice. - Very friendly and service was excellent. All the facilities were excellent and the hotel was in a good location.

  Having lived in Devon all our lives it was a hotel we had passed many times in the past, wondering what it would be like to stay there. We were not disappointed. Yes it would have been nicer to have had a slightly newer more modern bigger room, but what we had proved to be adequate for the one night we stayed. The bed was comfortable.
