  We were extremely impressed with the room in which we stayed. Our 19 month old daughter was given a lovely cot to sleep in, our sheets were always turned down by the time we got back at night and mints on our pillows-you cant get better than that! Our bathroom was extremely clean and we were provided with wonderful little shampoos and body lotion e... vad folk säger » tc. Best place we have ever stayed!!! - We arrived tired after driving from Oxford, and our room was not ready. However the reception staff were marvellously kind and welcoming and gave us a complimentary tray of tea in the lounge. When it became clear that there would be a further delay, we were switched to another room immediately. I am full of praise for the reception staff.

  the games room, we used the most.there was a very gfood singer, that was not really our thing, but everyone else seemed to like it , and we could enjoy it,but still play pool etc in the annex off from it, so it was well thought out - Very impressed by naveens hospitality and even upgraded myroom...nice one!

  The hotel is set in a very good location near the sea. It has character of the old seaside town hotel, complete with tartan style carpet! Some lovely garden with tropical plants including a eucalyptus tree. I found the manager on call, Alex, very helpful when I needed change of mattress. Well done Alex. - stayed for 2 nights with a party of 7. and when we arrived we we`re greeted by a very nice chap at the reception and given the keys to the rooms to relax.and basically from that moment on the 2 nights was excellent and all the staff smiled and nothing was too much trouble.the 5 course meal was fab,the beds comfortable & breakfast ample.all in all a lovely weekend had by all

  A very nice hotel, with friendly and very helpful staff. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.   I booked a one week stay, B&B in a single room hoping for a relaxing holiday after a busy few months at work. On arrival check in was easy and very friendly. Then came the part I had dreaded. (As a single traveller, on occasions rooms elsewhere have been little more than a broom cupboard with a view of the bins...!).   I liked the indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym. My wife was also impressed with the spa treatments. The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that we could book an apartment at the hotel, so we could prepare our own meals.   Having lived in Devon all our lives it was a hotel we had passed many times in the past, wondering what it would be like to stay there. We were not disappointed. Yes it would have been nicer to have had a slightly newer more modern bigger room, but what we had proved to be adequate for the one night we stayed. The bed was comfortable.
