  Bed was comfortable and we had a quiet area to stay in. Very nice modern pool with hot tub and sauna & steam room and family changing rooms. Modern hotel throughout. There are shops and Farnborough centre nearby (walking distance away) which is handy. - The atmosphere is modern and chilled while maintaining a cosy edge.   Enjoyed the pool, it could have been warmer, as it is small needs to be warm enough to just play around in, the temp it was you really needed to swim a lot, not dig enough for that. - The food was really outstanding, and I immediately booked at the hotel for a further weekend away.

  I had a very enjoyable stay at the Barcelo Basingstoke Country Hotel. I found all of the staff very friendly and happy to help. The food was excellent and there was a varied choice on the menu. Leisure facilities great - nice to have the opportunity to relax and unwind in the evening.
