  Mycket vänlig och kunnig personal. Jag kommer gärna tillbaka. - Fantastic building overlooking the port of Southampton. Everything you would expect from a top hotel. Great value dinner inclusive rate. - The service was very good, and freindly. The facilities were available if wanted. The location was great for our purposes.

  the hotel was very efficient at check in and out. the room was lovely and clean. it seemed newly refurbished and very comfortable. we had an evening meal in the restaurant. the service was a little slow but the food was excellent.we have been 2 years in a row for our anniversary and cant fault it as so near to the shops and bars. - The room was cle... vad folk säger » an, had all facilities and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in !   At the Meon the staf really shone, Holly who was our waitress in the evening was excellent, we felt very special, Tania was equally fantastic who looked after us at breakfast. The reception staff were also helpful and found us dressing gowns without question, well done great service all round. Food was excellent as was the service everywhere. The leisure facilities were very good and well maintained, just a shame the Sauna was out of order. We had a very pleasurable stay and would come back again.

  The initial reception was excellent and friendly. The staff were very attentive and polite and the cleanliness of the hotel was beyond reproach. It has been the best experience of staying in a UK hotel and would recommend it. They should be congratulated on such a lovely service provided.   Arrived in the dark along a single track country lane. Sat nav showing me the way to packridge farm. I couldn't see a sign for the dairy but I drove up the drive with my lights on full beam and the owner came out to greet me! Phew I was in the right place! Very welcoming, carried my bag in and up to the room 'cafe au lait' in the main farm house.... vad folk säger » Delightful room, bathroom hidden behind wardrobe doors. Spacious, new and clean. Bedding really cosy. Very quiet. Breakfast is a buffet, lots if cho - I liked how the guy did his best to help me out when I wanted to bathe my nearly 2 year old but my room didn't have a bath, he was very helpful and sorted me out with a makeshift bath! Just a nice place all round, very clean and comfy, in a nice quiet area (only a 5 minute drive to Paulton's Park though, ideal!) My (nearly) 2 year old seemed to like it, and slept well through the night. Facilities were top notch.

  I had a very enjoyable stay at the Barcelo Basingstoke Country Hotel. I found all of the staff very friendly and happy to help. The food was excellent and there was a varied choice on the menu. Leisure facilities great - nice to have the opportunity to relax and unwind in the evening.   The hotel was in a very secluded location, we found the stay very relaxing and the staff could not do enough for you. The room was excellent, clean, and the attention to detail was outstanding.
