Everything about this hotel was just perfect. We were lucky enough to book a double room, as the hotel was fully booked. No wonder! The owner was superlative in every way, trained in hospitality with a
wealth of experience and knowledge about how to run a hotel business. He
is smart, resourceful, really cared about his guests, and speaks English
beautifully. The rooms were each beautifully and individually decorated
with taste, a mini fridge, some with balconies, situated in the old and
fun part of San Sebastián. I highly recommend staying at this pensione.

All the personnel gave us a sincere and warm welcome feeling. The accomodation is just perfect as well as the quiet location nearby plenty of nice trips tot make. Just go and look for yourself! -

Ignacio and his wonderful "team" was a credit to this small friendly hotel,nothing was to much trouble,they looked after us splendidly ,even providing a superb meal,even though the restaurant was closed ( we arrived very late after driving 800 k!)

A perfect hotel, especially when travelling between Spain and France a very good solution.
Very good room, completely upgraded, good beds, clean bathroom, perfect shower.
Next morning we took a breakfast. Lot of choice, everything fresh and looked great.
We travel a lot and this is a hotel to remember for the next time!

We were travelling with our dogs and had a superb room overlooking the bay. The hotel is an old townhouse with loads of character. We had booked a space in their garage . . . Fabulous town, wonderful food, Hotel is built on a narrow ridge above the bay where you can watch the surfers from your room with a floor to ceiling glass wall. We chose the old style room with wooden shutters looking north with our own balcony and view of red tile roofs, the church bell tower and the ocean in the back ground. Just wonderful!!!! This is a superior hotel and staff; just sorry we were not staying much longer.

Staff were extremely helpful. The receptionist provided detailed directions to us (would never have found the place with these!). Bicycles were provided to us free of charge. Details of what to see and do and where to eat were provided to us. We were allowed an early check in at no extra cost. They even changed the towels in the evening for us. Roo

heart of the Rioja wine region. In addition to our room there is a

Easy access from the main road, excellent location at the entrance of a very cosy old country village/town, especially in a sunny day.
The room was small but comfortable with a very nice bed. The main lounge was very big and shared between all the travellers and it had anything you want from a modern kitchen. The terasse is facing the old church and it was a beatiful view on a very beautiful sunny day.

This is an ancient tower visited by kings that was converted to a hotel and opened for business in June 2013. This was exceptionally well-done and executed and has resulted in a very comfortable and pleasant place to stay, and we would happily recommend it.

We liked everything about this hotel: it's location; accessibility to many towns within Rioja; it's friendly and attentive staff; it's relaxed atmosphere; but most of all the architectural design, both interior and exterior, quirky and contemporary. The rooftop terrace was also a major plus.

Fint hotell, fint rum - The staff were particularly helpfull especially when the remote control for my car was disabled due to the adjacent government which had a radar exclusion zone. - The room was spacious, newly decorated, spotlessly clean, and elegant. It was a great location--easy walk to the Bilbao, great tapas bars three blocks away.
