t travel for next parts of my trip. It's really close to the Playa de Conca but in a quiet street so not lot of noise. It's definitely a step up from - The 'pension' is a delight. It is a small, family run enterprise in a back street, about four hundred yards from the main beach and eight hundred yards from the old town. It is spotlessly clean, recently refurbished and well run. The boss greets you on your arrival, sees to your very need and helps you with directions to a private, secure car park facility one hundred yards away. I would go back tomorrow - or whenever I next go to San Sebastián.

(Even though it's out - Colegio Mayor Olarain was a real breath of fresh air after a couple of depressing budget hotel rooms--a big, airy dorm room with big windows and lots of space. Breakfast was good too. But best of all was the staff. While in San Sebastian I fell, cut myself badly, and needed stitches. Next day I was concerned about the wound and staff drove me to a clinic to get checked out. Wonderful people here.
