The warm welcome by Hans and Miranda and their dog Sam was the start of
an unforgettable weeks stay in Cortijo el Guarda. The accommodation is
beautifully restored and elegantly decorated and still has modern
amenities (good wifi, hot showers, etc). We had a very comfortable and
spacious room with a worldclass bed and there was more than enough room
for the crib. Even though the weather was a bit cold and wet for March,
we had a wonderful time because of the warm and cosy municipal rooms,

Wow - what a wonderful place to rest, relax and explore the “Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos”. The interior decoration of the Cortijo El Guarda is just fantastic, every detail is perfect. Miranda and Hans are wonderful hosts. You really feel like you are staying in their home, not just their hotel. We would not hesitate to recommend this casa rural to anyone searching for a special place to stay.

Absolutely a top hotel. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Its a place with a personal touch situated in a stunning setting. If you are looking for some rest but like to be near the top attractions of the Granada region, this is the place. Its not the typical 4 or 5 star hotel with all the fascilities, but what it offers is certainly 5 star quality.

This is a perfect spot - peaceful, relaxing, comfortable, welcoming and superb locally sourced food. It is a small hotel which is great if you like to get away from it all. This hotel is perfect! A place to get spoiled in every way every day.
The rooms are decored beautifully and the material used is luxury
quality. The staff is so polite and serviceminded. The hotel placed by
the sea with fantastic seaview. An elevatorride away from the beach and
seashore where you can walk for miles. And a long this walk you pass
many restaurants and bars. I really recommend Mamma Gina. They have
fantastic italian food. And the habor in Benalmadena is definitely worth
a visit. T

The site is somewhat difficult to find when relying on a gps. We were
however given a written guide that made it possible. The hosts are
extremely friendly, and gave us an excellent experience. The house is
very nice, clean, quiet and the food absolutely wonderful. Price quality
wise a real good deal. Can only recommend this as a must try location.

All staff were very welcoming. I was on crutches so the morning afterwe arrived they offered to move us to a more accessible room. Nothingwas a problem. - The staff were all really friendly and kind, we were offered a free drink on arrival and the breakfast was outstanding
