The warm welcome by Hans and Miranda and their dog Sam was the start of
an unforgettable weeks stay in Cortijo el Guarda. The accommodation is
beautifully restored and elegantly decorated and still has modern
amenities (good wifi, hot showers, etc). We had a very comfortable and
spacious room with a worldclass bed and there was more than enough room
for the crib. Even though the weather was a bit cold and wet for March,

Wow - what a wonderful place to rest, relax and explore the “Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos”. The interior decoration of the Cortijo El Guarda is just fantastic, every detail is perfect. Miranda and Hans are wonderful hosts. You really feel like you are staying in their home, not just their hotel. We would not hesitate to recommend this casa rural to anyone searching for a special place to stay.

Amelia, Juan and their daughter showed us wonderful hospitality, and we found it incredibly relaxing and enjoyable staying with them at Los Olivos. They were extremely lovley hosts and have a beautiful property to match. Their recommendations for dining and sightseeing in Sanlucar were perfect and the home-made breakfast was absolutley amazing!!!

If you are looking for a 4 star hotel which offers a breakfast buffet and all other type of services you may have to choose another location or even city. However, if you love to be in a wonderful boutique hotel where the owner Marivi puts her heart and soul into everything, starting from the warm welcome, the infos about ronda, the decoration and interior of the rooms and the breakfast she serves on her own better hurry up with booking, there aren't that many rooms available.

Absolutely a top hotel. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Its a place with a personal touch situated in a stunning setting. If you are looking for some rest but like to be near the top attractions of the Granada region, this is the place. Its not the typical 4 or 5 star hotel with all the fascilities, but what it offers is certainly 5 star quality.
