The Madrid hadn't been that lovely without staying in this hostel!! Hostel has several floors and elevator, so I didn't carry my heavy bag))) Everything was very clean, breakfast was good and atmosphere very friendly!   Absolut friendly and helpfull staff, quiet at night (considering the most important road far below - and as it is considerably small, well controlled), perfectly situated in the real heart of the City - E.G. 2 steps from Lion King. It's in a great location and is perfect for friends or a couple to use as a base for seeing Madrid. The staff was awesome. Totally awesome. The hostel is a bit run down and in need of a bit of work. Hopefully the owners take care of that soon. Smaller than what the website implies.

  The hostel is really close to the city center, you can walk all day and meet the most important turistic points!!   The staff were super friendly. I had an issue with the noise in my first room and they were more than happy to move me around and were very apologetic. They have free churros and chocolate in the morning, tea, coffee etc. They made free Paella on the Sunday night and free sangria on the Monday night. They organise pub and walking tours. I was surprised by how clean it was - it seemed that the bathrooms were constantly being touched up - The staff was 5* the room very good and clean, computers to use any time you want, kitchen as well. They organize group things every night which is good to get know every one.. Loved it and recommend it! :) and about some prior comment's they now have light's on the bed and the door's they can only be open with the key from the outside of the room.. Means they read the comment's and pay attention to that!! Eheh Very Well Done Guys!!

  Stay here! This hostel is nicer than many hotels.I had a private double room with ensuite and it was huge! The room had dark blinds to block noise, air conditioning and an enormous, comfortable bed. I had the best night sleep in my whole European travels at UHostel. The hostel has a fantastic kitchen and dining area, - After 2 months of travelling I found just 2 hostels is will be back - Uhostel Madrid is one of them! Disigned in a fresh art-deco, this hostel has big & cosy rooms (I used 6-girly and 12-mixed rooms without any doubt), comfortable new beds, excellent showers with high pressure of hot water, modern very felicitous chill-out zone and extremely friendly dining area.   The hostel was clean and well kept. It was quiet and well located. The staff were really helpful and answered all my questions. I am also grateful that they took the time to save me the bottom bunk bed.   It's a perfect place to stay in Madrid. it was the best hostel i've ever stayed. Why? 1. Clean and beautiful. For me its the most important criteria - to have a clean bath and bed. Here everything looked new and smart. Cool design in corridors and inside the rooms. 2. Friendly and very helpful stuff. They will help you to organize the stay better... vad folk säger » than in tourist office. 3. Location. Close to everything most important. I never took a metro. From r/w st. Attocha - on foot, to bus station to air - Hostel is at a perfect location, close to Plaza del Sol, tons of bars and clubs and Prado museum. Athough it is in a loud area, the hostel itself is pretty peaceful and sleeping problems caused by outside noise are non-existent. Hostel staff is probably the friendliest and more helpful than I've ever seen. They are always ready to answer any questions and request within their power. The design is simply wonderful and refreshing. The rooms are so clean that you could probably eat off the floor
