  The staff were super friendly. I had an issue with the noise in my first room and they were more than happy to move me around and were very apologetic. They have free churros and chocolate in the morning, tea, coffee etc. They made free Paella on the Sunday night and free sangria on the Monday night. They organise pub and walking tours. I was surprised by how clean it was - it seemed that the bathrooms were constantly being touched up - The staff was 5* the room very good and clean, computers to use any time you want, kitchen as well. They organize group things every night which is good to get know every one.. Loved it and recommend it! :) and about some prior comment's they now have light's on the bed and the door's they can only be open with the key from the outside of the room.. Means they read the comment's and pay attention to that!! Eheh Very Well Done Guys!!

The room had dark blinds to block noise, air conditioning and an enormous, comfortable bed. I had the best night sleep in my whole European travels at UHostel.   It's a perfect place to stay in Madrid. it was the best hostel i've ever stayed. Why? 1. Clean and beautiful. For me its the most important criteria - to have a clean bath and bed. Here everything looked new and smart. Cool design in corridors and inside the rooms. 2. Friendly and very helpful stuff. They will help you to organize the stay better... what people say » than in tourist office. 3. Location. Close to everything most important. I never took a metro. From r/w st. Attocha - on foot, to bus station to air - Hostel is at a perfect location, close to Plaza del Sol, tons of bars and clubs and Prado museum. Athough it is in a loud area, the hostel itself is pretty peaceful and sleeping problems caused by outside noise are non-existent. Hostel staff is probably the friendliest and more helpful than I've ever seen. They are always ready to answer any questions and request within their power. The design is simply wonderful and refreshing. The rooms are so clean that you could probably eat off the floor
