  Friendly, helpful staff. Well-appointed apartment. We were upgraded to a flat in a different, quiter location after our original choice of apartment had to be closed for repairs. - big not expansive but too noisy.

  The hotel is located in the center of the city only a short two blocks from the Sol Metro station. We could walk to the major areas of interest and the Atocha train station (cab with luggage). There are dozens of tapas bars near the hotel. Finding "sit down" dinner restaurants was tougher but when we did the food was excellent. The hotel staff ... vad folk säger » was very helpful and courteous. - It was very comfortable indeed, in the heart of Madrid, with an excellent cafe for breakfast in the hotel itself. In addition, the price for the room represented excellent value for money and if the hotel had not been fully-booked, we would have stayed longer at it.

  The hotel is very well located within walking distance of all the main sites. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. The staff was very professional.   Location, location, location!! Steps away from Puerto del Sol and easy walking to all Madrid top attractions. Apartment we stayed in was located about 200m from the office where we checked in. It was called Puerto del Alcala was newly refurbish and very clean.
