  The general ambience of the hotel. With the exception of 1 member of staff we were very impressed with the way in which staff had been trained and the way in which they attended to every need of their guests.   My God what a place to stay! We arrived quite late in the dark and woke to the most incredible views on the planet! Food is fantastic, staff are really friendly and helpful. Loved, loved loved our stay here. Great place to stay with kids as there are little farm animals, pool and playground and they organise lots of kids activities! Very romantic ... vad folk säger » for couples too! Was definately a highlight to our trip. Big yes recommendation from us!! - We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Champagne Castle Hotel. It is in a beautiful setting with so many enjoyable walks direct from the hotel gardens. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to any of our friends and family who may visit the Drakensberg.

  The service was fantastic. We were welcomed by the owner who showed us to a lovely room with crisp white linen, tastefully decorated and very reasonably priced for the location! The bathroom was huge and the white towels soft and fluffy.
