June was the most friendliest hostess we ever have had! She had beach equipment (chairs, surf board, mask+snorkel, coolers) which we lent to Cape Vidal. On our early birding morning she prepared lunch boxes even for the guide.

The owner June went out of her way to ensure we experienced everything St lucia had to offer. She arranged tours, coolers and anything else needed to make our experience something to remember. A wonderful hostess, relaxed atmosphere and lovely breakfast too.

We liked Everything about Lodge Afrique! Tessa, Cindy and the rest of the staff treated us so well we asked if we could move in! Spacious huts amidst beautiful tropical gardens. Nice areas outside to sit and relax. Staff is very welcoming and hospitable. Tenants included people from Asia, Europe, South Africa and USA. Classy, lovely finishes. Great service from staff. Our 7 year old really wanted pancakes for supper. Our waitress asked the pastry chef, who sent out 6 delicious pancakes with syrup - which we all devoured! -

The owners were very friendly and helpful in telling us about things to see in the area - room was small very clean furnished beautifully and in line with being in the heart of Zulu land. We really enjoyed it totally relaxing lovely pools and braai areas in the courtyard. The breakfast provided was also very nice and set you up for the day I would certainly recomend to friends.

Although its in the city, you don't get to hear to city noise and the views from the hotel are very nice - From arrival to departure, we were made to feel that we were guests and not just people to fill rooms. We would stay there again when next we visit Durban.
