  What a piece of heaven. It was like being in the bush with all the little luxuries. The care and attention to all the little things was amazing and made you feel like you were the most valued guest. There was not one thing that I could find fault with. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but even then by the time we left it felt like it had bee... vad folk säger » n longer. The accommodation was immaculate and the breakfast was exceptional. The only problem you had was trying to identify what animal was running - When you choose a place via the Internet, you are never too sure of what you may get.... This was a real gem! We were treated like royalty by Victoria, Nothile and Jabu and couldn't have asked for better service. The meals were fantastic ( especially loved the pineapple dish served for breakfast!) and the packed breakfasts enough to last the whole day! Thank you so much. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you.

  As disabled person i was concerned i would not be able to get around ,the facilities were excellent and very wheelchair friendly the staff and management was very helpful and pleasant to talk to.i thouroghly enjoyed my stay at the makaranga and would recommend it to all especially those that have disab... vad folk säger » lities - The whole place was amazing.   Stayed here for 2 nights as a stopover for our honeymoon. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Accomodation was awesome, try get rooms 10 - 15 as they are the most private. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we could've stayed longer. - The tents were nice.

  We only arrived at the resort at 7pm on date of arrival and we were very tired as we had done Sani Pass before arriving. Our check in was not very welcoming but the staff at the tavern welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home. They understood that we were tired and hungry and saw to us quickly. That was exceptional service. It was relax... vad folk säger » ing and pleasing to know that the children were being entertained whilst we were either relaxing by the pool side or during the hikes. We loved going - The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to assist us and tend to our needs. The facilities were awesome and met our expectations. The resort was easy to find and the security as well as staff made the check in and check out very comfortable and easy.

  My God what a place to stay! We arrived quite late in the dark and woke to the most incredible views on the planet! Food is fantastic, staff are really friendly and helpful. Loved, loved loved our stay here. Great place to stay with kids as there are little farm animals, pool and playground and they organise lots of kids activities! Very romantic ... vad folk säger » for couples too! Was definately a highlight to our trip. Big yes recommendation from us!! - We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Champagne Castle Hotel. It is in a beautiful setting with so many enjoyable walks direct from the hotel gardens. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to any of our friends and family who may visit the Drakensberg.
