  Casa Lila is amazing! It felt like a real treat. They upgraded us to a bigger room at no charge, and the Rose suite was phenomenal! I loved the bright colors and the design of Casa Lila, and how it felt both old/antique and new/modern at the same time. In the room was the most amazing bath, part of the old Hammam, we were told. The staff was super friendly and helpful, booking us a last minute hammam and massa - The reception staff was very helpful providing a map and locations with restaurant recommendations. The breakfast on the terrace was served by a calming and attentive member of staff and varied each morning. Our suite on the second floor was spacious and quiet. Located in the Medina this riad is close to everything. The terrace area was good for sunbathing and there were loungers on another floor too. Plenty of places to sit comfortably within the riad.

  Everything was perfect. Extremely friendly staff and very competent. Thank you, Yousef at the pool, Mouna and Meryam in the restaurant, Mamadou, who helped with the suitcases, the 'maitre d'hotel', the nice women at reception and all the others who's names I don't remember, but not their friendliness. If we go back to Essaouira, no doubt it will be in this hotel. - The staff was always willing to give us the little extras that make you feel special.   Amazing riad, with a spectacular terrace on the roof, facing the Portuguese walls and the ocean (above all other terraces!!) The room was spacious with a superb bed and clean and stylish bathroom.   If you're looking for a budget-friendly place to stay that is well-decorated in Moroccan designs, then this is it! The check-in was very easy even though the staff did not speak too much English. The staff gave us a map of the medina and instructions for how to get to some of the sights.   They provided us with a hot water bottle. Wish they had given us two. - It's location, easy access to the beach and port.The staff were friendly and helpful. It was good to be able to sit out on the terrace in the sunshine, although there was healthy competition for the sun beds!

  Good hotel. Location very good; service very good and friendly. Special attention for our anniversary without asking. Try to have a rrom with an ocean view. It is worth the price. - I appreciated the welcome and service in the room. The private beach is well cared for and the pool is functional. Hotels on to expectations.

  The hotel is fantastic, the decor stunning and each room is totally individual, the terrace is lovely with a great view of the beach and the staff could not have been nicer. - Great place with excellent service. Perfect location just inside the city walls. Great local design, big rooms nicely decorated. We can recommend it!

  I loved this place. The staff were genuine and friendly, and the riad is absolutely gorgeous. We booked the Warda room, which means rose in Arabic, and there were roses and rose petals everywhere inside, which was a nice touch. We couldn't not make use of the huge bathtub and took a relaxing hot bath late at night that put us right to sleep.   The roof terrace had an amazing view & a nice chill out area in the shade. The room was nice, simple & clean. One thing to note is coming from the beach you have to go into the medina to get to it (not quite clear on the map) but then it is in a good location 2mins from the Main Street. - Warm, friendly feel....a comfortable home away fro... vad folk säger » m home. It was peaceful, comfortable and perfect for four days in Essaouira. The hotel staff were very helpful at all times. It's an approximate 4 minutes walk to the market area. The view from the terrace is wonderful. The room we stayed in was big and lovely. My wife wants to go back, I'm sure we will one day!

  The location was good and it was very easy to find the hotel. The staff was very friendly - they gave us very accurate information about the town (shopping, restaurants, sightseeing). We also liked the breakfast on the nice roof terrace. And the wifi network was much better then in our 5-star hotel in Marrakech!! The roof terrace where breakfast was served provided good views over the medina, whil ethe breakfast itself was one excellent.   We had to cancel our first night due to illness, but everybody at Dar Ness was most helpful. All staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. It was nice that both James and Elizabeth, the owners, were on hand to chat and provide advice about the area. The staff was friendly, and very helpful. Gave good advice on restaurants to go to in the medina. The room was clean, and comfortable. Breakfast on the patio was very nice as well, and the day we were leaving (at an earlier time than the breakfast was set), the staff at the reception prepared it anyhow. We had a lovely time in Essaouira!
