  Great hotel, beautiful pool, very green. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is beyond the expectation. A lot of choices and everything is delicious. I couldn't stop eating:-) - Improved food in comparison with our stay 2 yrs ago. Nice hotel facilities.

  My wife and I stayed at La Perle du Sud for one night when we needed to make a last minute trip to Ouarzazate. We were pleasantly surprised by the place, it is nicely decorated, and we had a spacious and comfortable room with air conditioning. The hotel has a nice (small) pool, which also had a bar that served beer during Ramadan (not the case eve... vad folk säger » rywhere). Reasonable price, also included breakfast which we did not eat.   The room was lovely with nice clean linen and comfy bed. The staff were really friendly. Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately our room didn't have an outside window in hot weather so spoilt our stay, otherwise it would have been 10/10. The staff lent us a fan but the room was still stifling. I am sure this is just a problem with that particular ... vad folk säger » room so ask for a room with an outside window! - Its a hotel, with hot water from the beginning, good and working WIFI everywhere, clean, separated almost new bathroom. The guy at the reception was extremely kind... So nothing to complain at all! And by the way the things mentioned above are not typical for Moroccan accomodations (except the staff, they were always very hospitable).

  location of the house is very nice - in the middle of real moroccan village. Eat on the roof top terrace and enjoy great views. Despite we were the only people in the hotel and arrived late, we got nice dinner and even listened to local songs :) - Great views from the terrace. Comfortable rooms.

  The location is great, just nearby the old kasbah, abundant breakfast and spacious rooms. The personal is very helpful (I had a health prolem and had to call a doctor). - Really nice big clean pool. Watching the stars from the pool loungers in the warm desert air. Good clean, quiet rooms and good air-con.

  Owner and staff so friendly and willing to help... gave us a tour and let us choose our own room as we were the first to arrive for night, the food were some of the best in all of our stay in Morocco, and the pool area is quite relaxing and clean.   It is the 1st time I give the maximum note to an hotel: everything was perfect. The staff is always present to help you in whatever you need, making sure to respect your privacy in the same time. A must to go if you want to spend some time in Ouarzazate. The attention given of the designof every room, all the small details who make the differenece... vad folk säger » , the kindness of the staff, the location in a quite area just next door from all activities, everything is in place to make you enjoy your stay. - Stayed in the Shehrazad room which was well-decorated, extremely clean and comfortable. AC worked great, which made a huge difference because the heat in Ouarzazate was oppressive. While some have complained about the Vegas feel, my wife and I found the new and luxurious accommodations to be a welcome respite from the other riads we stayed at. Breakfast poolside was also a nice touch.

  The lady who owns the place is very kind and helpful, we felt very welcome and she gave us great advice on how to enjoy the city. She's also the president of a local association who helps women to work. We felt as part of the local community, as we went to the local hammam and dealt with local carpet and jewel producers. It looks out over the kasbah dwelling as well as the countryside. The room itself was okay. It was a bit dark and the bathroom needs upgrading. Breakfast was superb. We were served a copious amount of food with a variety of breads, pancakes, boiled eggs and yogurt. It was delicious.
