Casa Lila is amazing! It felt like a real treat. They upgraded us to a
bigger room at no charge, and the Rose suite was phenomenal! I loved the
bright colors and the design of Casa Lila, and how it felt both
old/antique and new/modern at the same time. In the room was the
most amazing bath, part of the old Hammam, we were told. The room was

The reception staff was very helpful providing a map and locations with restaurant recommendations. The breakfast on the terrace was served by a calming and attentive member of staff and varied each morning. Our suite on the second floor was spacious and quiet. Located in the Medina this riad is close to everything. The terrace area was good for sunbathing and there were loungers on another floor too. Plenty of places to sit comfortably within the riad.

The staff was always willing to give us the little extras that make you feel special. The kitchen was delicious evening time and so the breakfast setting at the pool.
Great comfort and a very special quite and relaxing resort inside the medina.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly place to stay that is well-decorated in Moroccan designs, then this is it! The check-in was very easy even though the staff did not speak too much English. The staff gave us a map of the medina and instructions for how to get to some of the sights.

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, they made us feel like we were at home. The riad was beautiful, modern and clean but had a traditional feel to it. We would stay again if we have the opportunity. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and it was nice to feel like the only people in the riad (private). Dar Assalama was my favourite of the two places we stayed during our 8 days stay in Morocco. It was peaceful, comfortable and perfect for four days in Essaouira. The hotel staff were very helpful at all times. It's an approximate 4 minutes walk to the market area. The view from the terrace is wonderful. The room we stayed in was big and lovely. My wife wants to go back, I'm sure we will one day!

The rooms were very comfortable, cleaned daily and the bathroom was well positioned with a walk in shower. The roof terrace where breakfast was served provided good views over the medina, whil ethe breakfast itself was one excellent. The staff were all friendly and always willing to help or answer questions. A great stay.

We had to cancel our first night due to illness, but everybody at Dar Ness was most helpful. All staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Everything! The staff was friendly, and very helpful. Gave good advice on restaurants to go to in the medina. The room was clean, and comfortable. Breakfast on the patio was very nice as well, and the day we were leaving (at an earlier time than the breakfast was set), the staff at the reception prepared it anyhow. We had a lovely time in Essaouira!
