  The Salt Hill Location itself is nice village, with a variety of restaurants. We tried Black Cat which was great for lunch but service a little slow during dinner. The fish and chips shop is great too for takeaways. I pick up my morning coffee from Gourmet Tart Company next door (they open at 7:30am). What makes our stay p - This was a stop part way through our journey across Ireland. We had stayed in some wonderful hotels and were unsure about our stay in an apartment. It was a great choice. Not only was it convenient to Galway city center, but to a delightful area called Upper Salthill. Wonderful pubs and restaurants just around the corner!   Paul and Catherine are some of the nicest people I encountered in my entire trip to Ireland. I cannot speak highly enough of their kindness, their service and the degree of welcome that they provide. Don't be fooled--t - Pat and Catherine are extremely friendly and helpful in assisting you in whatever plans you may have. They're accommodating in your schedule and seem sincerely dedicated to ensuring that your stay is as ideal as possible. The wifi is super-fast (which we found to be a rarity at other B&B's). They have a full breakfast menu, which is included in the cost of your stay. Continental breakfast is available all morning and menu items are made to order, quickly.

  We were travelling with a very young 1 1/2 year old and the owner (Shauna) was fantastic to us, allowed us blend food for the kid in her kitchen, she washed the blender and sterilized his bottles, had a baby seat ready for him during breakfast, prepared a travel cot for sleeping. That was testimonial to her sincerity. Her mother also had beenagreat help to us in finding restaurants and music venues. - very nice b & b located right between salthill and galway. easily within walking distance to both and across the street from the bay. decided to stay two nights but it was booked the second so the owner found us a room across the street. very friendly.

  The Sunrise Lodge B&B was so fantastic. It exceeded all of our expectations. Paeder and his wife were so wonderful! The room was cozy and extremely comfortable. The powerful shower was especially wonderful after traveling for close to 36 hours. Paeder really made it wonderful. He even looked up directions and drew us a map to - The service, facilities and breakfast were marvellous and the location on Galway Bay and walking distance to Galway City shops and restaurants was perfect. I mistakenly left an item of clothing in the cupboard and the proprietors were kind enough to parcel it up and post it at their expense (which I could not in all fairness accept) speedily to us in Australia.
