  For the price it was ridiculously great value for money at this off peak time. Style was amazing for the price band it was in and worthy of top dollar. Perfectly clean on arrival and actually shown room which thought was a nice touch. - Lovely little room. Well decorated, small but very comfortable bed and great shower. Had a wonderful time.   Peter the owner was a lovely man, very helpful and just an all round nice man. The hotel is in a great location on the sea front, restaurants, pubs, casinos and amusements are all within a minutes walk and the aquarium is around the corner. I will definitely be going back the next time i'm in galway even if its just too see the lovely australi - We enjoyed Peter and his staff - they made us very welcome! The room was very clean and the location directly across the street from the beach and the Prom. Taxis were available right outside the door for our trip into Galway (a bit too far for us to walk - many other people were able to walk it though). There is a lively, friendly bar right next to the hotel lobby and many good places to eat and see within a 1- 2 block radius. Nice proximity to downtown Galway. We enjoyed our stay very much.

  The Salt Hill Location itself is nice village, with a variety of restaurants. We tried Black Cat which was great for lunch but service a little slow during dinner. The fish and chips shop is great too for takeaways. I pick up my morning coffee from Gourmet Tart Company next door (they open at 7:30am). What makes our stay p - This was a stop part way through our journey across Ireland. We had stayed in some wonderful hotels and were unsure about our stay in an apartment. It was a great choice. Not only was it convenient to Galway city center, but to a delightful area called Upper Salthill. Wonderful pubs and restaurants just around the corner!   Great communication and any requests were fulfilled. We were met on arrival by Joanna who was very pleasant and gave us tips on where to get good food Apartments were warm, spotless and spacious. Bus stop to Galway city centre at front door or an easy 25min walk mean you can leave the car in the private ca - The apartment was very spacious. Lovely to hear the sound of the waves breaking below. The location was good for local shops etc: It had all the bits n bobs needed to self cater and the heating was really good. Thought I might get cold but I was lovely n toasty. All appliances were new and hardly used. The local fish n chops were to die for....we ate ours on the sea front - Yum Yum

  Mary was a wonderful host. Greeted us with open arms as soon a we walked in the door. She told us everything we needed to know about the area from where to catch the bus to the best places to eat & drink. She also made us a delicious irish breakfast in the morning. Our room was the perfect size with a small bathroom, perfect for a short stay. The area and place it - Trieste is a wonderful place to stay at if you are visiting Galway. Mary makes the best scrabbled eggs i've had in my life. The breakfast is big and you will not complain over it. Too good! The room was good. Me and my friend had a double room with separate beds it was great and very cosy. The host Mary was very helpful and friendly. Had Wi-Fi. Hurray! Great paintings around in the house. Me and friend loved this place! Thank you Mary! :)

  Paul and Catherine are some of the nicest people I encountered in my entire trip to Ireland. I cannot speak highly enough of their kindness, their service and the degree of welcome that they provide. Don't be fooled--t - Pat and Catherine are extremely friendly and helpful in assisting you in whatever plans you may have. They have a full breakfast menu, which is included in the cost of your stay. Continental breakfast is available all morning and menu items are made to order, quickly.
