We were travelling with a very young 1 1/2 year old and the owner (Shauna) was fantastic to us, allowed us blend food for the kid in her kitchen, she washed the blender and sterilized his bottles, had a baby seat ready for him during breakfast, prepared a travel cot for sleeping. She also arranged and reserved a large table to seat our entire group of 7 every morning - she was wonderful!.
alla recensioner » very nice b & b located right between salthill and galway. easily within walking distance to both and across the street from the bay. decided to stay two nights but it was booked the second so the owner found us a room across the street. very friendly. Even after we had paid and were about to leave, the hostess was still eager to advise us on sights to see on the next leg of our trip. That was testimonial to her sincerity. Her mother also had beenagreat help to us in finding restaurants and music venues. Very friendly owners...even got to meet Zac the dog. Choice of full or continental breakfast was nice. Easy to find, good location within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and would book there again. A wonderful place to stay overlooking the ocean and so close to Galway. The proprietor was so helpful and was so knowledgeable about what to do during our stay. Thanks to her we got to see so much more. Room and food was fantastic. Nice owner and staff. Delicious Irish breakfast. Great location close to the beach, right in the middle of Galway city and Salthill. Very quiet so we got a good sleep. Parking right in front of the door. Would definitely recommend. We absolutely loved the B&B; it was exceptionally clean and the room was very bright and cosy. Shauna and her mom were so friendly and helpful, we felt home there. I would definitely stay there again. The position of this b and b is wonderful, right opposite the bay and a lovely stroll along the prom. The breakfast was good, the room clean and comfortable, we would recommend this place to everyone. Excellent hostess. The breakfast was the best in Europe so far. Its vicinity to Galway walking was perfect while being outside the main hubub. Location was great and staff was very friendly. Room was small and had only 1 small overhead window. I would ask for a front room if staying there again. Great stay! There was a choice of breakfasts and the hostess took time to explain the different options to non-English speaking guests. kind staff. nothing. Very pricey for a B&B but it was Galway race week and even at the rate we paid it was cheaper than any other hotel available. At non race- week prices this is would be great value. Nothing to dislike though it was the most expensive b and b we stayed in out of the eight we stayed in but the position was great. No view from the room and no sitting room. Wifi was spotty but they worked on it and had it fixed each time we made them aware. directions to find it in the first place down to booking .com I think. Nothing!!. it was a b+b but you would expect to get a breakfast in a b+b not to be charged extra for breakfast advertising under the wrong sign its not a b+b. no shower the first nite water cold apart from that ok. The furnishings were a bit dated. The sheets and towels were also a bit thin and well used. A general sitting area to access the wi-fi would have been appreciated since it was not possible to do so from our 3rd floor room. Also, the breakfast was just so/so. Instruction signs everywhere. Shower(not allowed after 22:00) Intermittent at best, stopped when other guests were using bathroom WiFi did not work in the loft room Breakfast was stated as continental , this turned out to be tea and toast , other guests seemed to be offered more choice Unfortunately the negatives outweighed the positives , would not stay again. not stag-part friendly. breakfast looked kinda small. Price. One day we returned to find the room hadn't been cleaned or the beds made despite the fact that we left Westwinds each day by 09.45, when this was pointed out the situation was remedied immediately, I am sure that it was an oversight. very small bed and not really stable.
