  The location in the centre of the Beaujolais area was perfect for touring around, lovely countryside to explore as long as you have a car. Only about an hour from Lyon airport. The chateau is set in its own vineyards (producing mostly Brouilly wine) and the rooms have been restored beautifully. Just about the nicest place we have stayed. Very fri... vad folk säger » endly and helpful. - The place is really quite comfortable to relax and have quiet days. The renovation of the castle was very good and the decoration superb. However, even if the village (with restaurants) is not far you cannot avoid to use your car every day. Lauren, the owner, was very kind and the breakfast was great.

  The location of the hotel was excellent and only a few minutes walk from a wide selection of restaurants and the old part of the city. The hotel room was very clean and staff were more than willing to help with any questions or requests. The metro is right outside the hotel. - Excellent room accomations. Outstanding decor.   Truly an excellent stay. Wonderful deco. Hard to get in due to its popularity. This room faces the square and is very good. Breakfast excellent and a huge choice. Staff went out of their way to make us feel special. Staff were very, very helpful, professional and had a sense of humour, again, making us feel very special. My wife tried the spa, and found - Location was great. The facilities were beautiful. They said they did not have parking...but the parking is almost across the street. So that was good. The apartment was very clean.
