  The owners were superb, friendly and very welcoming, we did not feel rushed to depart the next day. They joined us for breakfast and we sat and talked as we would with our friends. They were excellent with our young children (2 and 4 1/2 years old) and let us relax in their home.   We loved it all. Karine was so nice to us. Very pleasant and helpful. The house is a beautiful 150 year old mansion, which they are restoring. The expansive gardens were just gorgeous with the Autumn colours. Breakfast was great too.Someone complained about being on the top floor with no elevator but not many houses built in the 19th century hav... vad folk säger » e them and it's no problem with a very wide staircase and the steps are not too high. So read the descriptions and be aware of these type of issues be - The two B&B rooms were very clean and very comfortable the decor was tasteful. The owner Karine was very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. I would definately recommend Manoir Tourieux.

  We loved Le Vallon des Ronzières! The B&B was very charming and in a beautiful setting surrounded by vineyards. The family suite was modern and clean and had all we needed. The pool was fantastic after a long day of traveling. Continental breakfast each morning was delicious! Annick was a welcoming host, who provided excellent sugges... vad folk säger » tions on places to visit in the area. She also welcomed us with a glass of local wine, cheese and fruits at the pool. We stayed for 2 nights and - This was a lovely converted house with a very friendly and helpful hostess who spoke excellent English. The room was lovely and the welcoming glass of wine much appreciated. The breakfast was of local produce and very tasty. The grounds of the property offered a small pool and outside sitting area. Parking was available. We had a great supper in Villefranche - a lovely town not far away. Must go and stay again especially in Spring or Summer. Great value.

  The location in the centre of the Beaujolais area was perfect for touring around, lovely countryside to explore as long as you have a car. Only about an hour from Lyon airport. The chateau is set in its own vineyards (producing mostly Brouilly wine) and the rooms have been restored beautifully. Just about the nicest place we have stayed. However, even if the village (with restaurants) is not far you cannot avoid to use your car every day. Lauren, the owner, was very kind and the breakfast was great.

  Chantal is very friendly and the room was very clean. The location was excellent. it is near some gret historical places to vid with incredible view points ner by. You must take the many stairs o get to and from the old city but my son and found this to be part of the charm. We felt very sac here in Lyon and walking at night up those stairs. It is quiet and a very interesting older home with very high ceilings and lots of character. - The room was absolutely fantastic. It was everything i had pictured and better. The display and everything is classy and welcoming. yet you should pay attention to Their Check-in policy. The house is empty before 18:00 and you need to have a password getting inside. The house owner is extremely kind and helpful. The location is not bad. it is up in the mountain but only 5 minutes to metro. But you need to notice that the payment has to be in cash
