  We just loved the setting of the Chateau, its most interesting history & unspoilt beauty. Location was great with Amboise just minutes down the road offering cafe's, restaurants, weekend market, historic Chateau & more. Our room was very pretty, complete with the biggest claw foot bat - Chateau de Nazelles was out of a fairy tale. The rooms were unique parts of the original 16th century castle. We stayed in the guest house suite, which was marvelous. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the suite, the kitchen, dining table, and separate "man cave" which in fact was a cave built into the limestone cliff. The wifi was free, unlike another "luxury chain hotel" in Paris which charged 25 EU for internet/per device. The staff was attentive, they prepared a breakfast tray for us in t

The chateau is beautiful, the rooms are lovely and exactly what you see on the website, the gardens of the chateau are lovely to wander in and the pool area is so relaxing. We stayed not in the main building but in separate cottage facing beautiful old garden. The staff was very helpful (the owner and his wife are always at the front desk).   Stayed in room 14 which is a an upgrade room. Renovations were recently done and I would imagine we were one of the first few to stay in this room. The room was very large (bigger than US hotel rooms for sure) with a queen bed and two leather chairs along with a desk and a bureau (and TV). All the amenities provided.   Wow!! The property is next to the river Loire and easy to find. On arrival we were met by the lovely friendly couple who own the Chambres dHotes working on their part of the caves. The place is stunning. Our room was at the back of the caves with a 4 poster bed and spa shower. When we turned the lights off to go to sleep it was black and silent. You feel like you are staying at a friend's home. The yard is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine. You can bring a picnic with you. We were able to use the refrigerator. There is a large TV and leather sofa in the common area. The rooms are cozy and well decorated. The shower is nice also. The breakfast was good. Convienient location for seeing Amboise and nearby chateaux.

  We stayed in the house with our two children ages 4 and 8. It's decorated and maintained to a very high standard. Its location is ideal for a short walk to the town center for restaurants. The owner Patricia was very welcoming and had left out a basket with pastries and chocolates for us on arrival.
