  The Black Rock was the delightful and invaluable base for the best family vacation we have ever had. The hotel helped us book incredible whale watch and kayak excursions, and the staff u - While pricey - this resort is worth every penny - the rooms are beautifully appointed with excellent views of the bay, ocean or forest. The Wild Pacific Trail is easily accessed and enjoyed from the lodge. The restaurant and cafe were well priced with excellent menus. Ucluelet is a great town for wildlife viewing - stay around this area for the best chance at sea otters.

  The balconies on both floors faced an inlet with lots of trees full of wildlife, including eagles, crows, squirrels and a raccoon! Deck on front caught lots of sunshine and there was a huge bar-b-que which we used several times and a hottub which my son and I used twice daily. Full kitchen facilities meant we could eat in when we wanted to. The cabin was welcoming, comfortable and cozy. We found it very relaxing to sit back and enjoy a soak in the hot tub conviently located on the front covered porch of our cabin. We found the price both reasonable and affordable. Overall a great place to stay, we would definitely rebook at Reef Point Cottages.

  We stayed here for one night in late November and wished we had stayed longer. Extremely cozy and clean, comfortable bed, and great location. Close to the Wild Pacific Trail, which I highly recommend hiking. I liked that breakfast (bowl of fruit, yogurts, OJ, coffee/tea and great muffins) was already in the room so you could dine whenever you felt... vad folk säger » like it. Would definitely stay again. - I stayed for 4 nights. This is not your usual B & B this was like staying in a self contained Studio Apartment which for me was fantastic. There is a sofa to relax on after a day out walking and a super comfortable bed. Miles the owner certainly goes the extra mile for his guests. Go and give it a try- 'Experience Life on the Edge'!.

  We loved this guest house, the owners are so friendly and it really is a home from home. The hot tub is great and there is an enclosed garden which was great for a son to run around in and the owners even bought toys down for him to play with. The young couple that own the place were very friendly and accommodating. We also got a good deal on surf lessons with Jay, which was cheaper than a lot of the other surfing schools around.   Using the directions provided we found the lodge easily. Its one right turn off the main road into town. I liked that it is right beside a huge park so we had a nice view when sitting on the deck. Glenn pointed us to the trail head located in the park right next to the lodge and we took a beautiful walk along the coast, - When I first booked I cancelled thinking this would not be an accommodation that would suit our needs for a stress free romantic weekend away. Glenn and Dianne responded by email and I am so happy they did. Glenn and Dianne, what a pleasant couple. We stayed in room 5 it was quiet, clean and cozy. I have nothing but great things to say about this room, everything is tasteful and comfortable!!! Thank you for a great stay, we will return!!

  - Perfect hospitality + professional staff, the owner is friendly and very close to the guests with excellent service - Great room: wonderful balcony with nature and seaside view, we enjoyed the beautiful and modern furniture, equipment (kitchen, barbecue on the balcony) and spacy atmosphere, everything new and clean and full of light. Absolutely... vad folk säger » no problem staying here for seven days, we always felt very comfortable and were glad to return to such a great place after a long day. - The owner e - The inn is well situated by the water and is a perfect spot for just relaxing or exploring the middle west coast of Vancouver Island. The owner, Teo, was most helpful and gracious and even gave us (senior couple) an upgrade to the honeymoon suite!. As there was to be a planned power outage at 8:00 the next morning, she did all she could to suggest ways and means to cope with the problem. We had a short stay but a pleasurable one.
