  The Black Rock was the delightful and invaluable base for the best family vacation we have ever had. From the dramatic location and vistas, to the truly incredible, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, helpful and unfailingly polite staff, the resort was everything we could have hoped for when we booked a five night stay in a small town about which we ha... vad folk säger » d never heard at the end of the road on the edge of the Pacific. The hotel helped us book incredible whale watch and kayak excursions, and the staff u - While pricey - this resort is worth every penny - the rooms are beautifully appointed with excellent views of the bay, ocean or forest. The Wild Pacific Trail is easily accessed and enjoyed from the lodge. The restaurant and cafe were well priced with excellent menus. Ucluelet is a great town for wildlife viewing - stay around this area for the best chance at sea otters.

  My boyfriend and I stayed here for the long weekend and were very pleased! From the moment we got there the customer service was awesome. The young girl at the front desk was one of the nicest people I've ever encountered checking into a hotel. We'd never stayed in Ucluelet before so we had no idea what the best restaurants were, where the best be... vad folk säger » aches were..etc, but she took care of all of that for us. She gave us maps and a load of information of what we could do and where the best places wer - The very friendly welcome and helpful information/local advice given on arrival about what to visit , where to eat etc, tours.Excellent clean, cosy,comfortable room,equipment and facilities. Free use of pool, sauna and gym.
