Good shower (altho over bath) value for money - Location idea for us as our conference was just round the corner! Accessibility was great - plenty of tramp-carts to parts of the city

  I arrived really late at night, which was very scary in such a busy city, however when i got there the man on the desk made me feel so much at ease and was so welcoming!   Staff were very friendly. All children under 12 free using existing bedding, suitable for family with young kids on a budget but wanted to have a proper accommodation. They mistakenly charged credit card upon booking (supposed to charge upon arrival) and were a bit slow in responding to complaints but we suspected they upgraded our room and waived... vad folk säger » the parking fee. - The hotel is located just out of the CBD in a leafy location yet still within very easy reach of everything. Staff were very helpful, one of the receptionists very quickly provided us with accurate and detailed directions to our onward location, avoiding all toll roads. Another very quickly and efficiently resolved a minor air conditioning issue.

  All staff from the cleaners right through to reception and the owners were always very friendly and eager to offer any advice on activities, places to go etc. The owners even gave my family free passes to the aquarium. when the 3 yr old had an accident on his bed the sheets were changed immediately without question by staff at no extra cost.   I only needed a room for one night and it was as I expected for the price. It was convenient and comfortable without any big fuss. For the small number of hours I used the room it was exactly what I wanted. I could catch the tram outside the door and come back the same way which was great.   Room was in a fantastic location, wildlife just outside, great view and ( for us ) perfect weather. As well as this the bed was great and spa bath was magnificant. Location wasnt far from winneries, tracks, cultural activities and restaurants - I would definitely recommend Grampians Motel and generally stay in Halls Gap.   We arrived after 8pm at night and were given a warm welcome by Andrew who was also very helpful. The twin beds were super comfortable and we loved the new bathroom. - very well thought out mini-bar. menu for breakfasts was very good, good range offered, good value for money.barriers to reduce noise from the road very effective.
