  Location was ideal for our purposes. We were not met on our late arrival despite prior notice to this effect although the Manager was obviously keeping an eye out for us from his residence because he did eventually appear. As we were not there to spend time in the room just to have rest and sleep. Easy for the bus and the train. We went to the factory outlets, and into the centre of Melbourne With ease. Recommend for anyone that needs a stop over.

  Nev went above & beyond to look after us as we were arriving late. He took our breakfast order over the phone including gluten free, nothing was too much trouble.   Friendly Staff remembered our names and thanked us for staying. We phoned to say we were running late. They went and put the air conditioner in room so it wouldn't be freezing when we arrived. On leaving we stated we would stay again. Room was clean, of a good standard and very reasonably priced. - Very clean and fresh. Close to all facilities.   great location, excellent value for money as we have a large family and had to get two rooms. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Booking was easy on the internet, and our request for two rooms next to each other was accomodated. - Julia (Reception & Breakfast cook) was great. Facilities were very good and spotlessly clean.

  I only needed a room for one night and it was as I expected for the price. It was convenient and comfortable without any big fuss. For the small number of hours I used the room it was exactly what I wanted. I could catch the tram outside the door and come back the same way which was great. Did lack a dining table. I was in single bed room. Cheapest I could get. Awesome location - a little bit of noise as you'd expect. The little bit of interaction I had with the staff was positive - they were very polite.

  We drove from Melbourne to Port Campbell to enjoy the beauty of the great ocean road. Port Campbell is a great place to stop overnight. The Portside Motel is woderful hotel to stay.   My friend had a problem climbing the stairs, as when I booked I didn't realize there was up and down stairs. The lady at the desk re arranged the booking to a ground floor room, which was no bother to her and a big plus to us. Otherwise everything was spot on..   We arrived after 8pm at night and were given a warm welcome by Andrew who was also very helpful. The twin beds were super comfortable and we loved the new bathroom. - very well thought out mini-bar. menu for breakfasts was very good, good range offered, good value for money.barriers to reduce noise from the road very effective.

  Great facilities and size of room. Stayed for one night and was greeted on arrival warmly. On check out I was greeted by the lady at the desk using my first name brfore i even gave my details.
