Staff were friendly. The gym was A one and the pool was great to unwind after all the walking.   I loved every part of our stay, the location was excellent with so many options for meals the room was spotless & very comfortable & staff very helpful my daughter loved the pool & shopping in the many shops just a lift ride away.   Loved everything. We booked a studio apartment for 2 nights. Very modern, awesome air conditioning units, a small balcony, sound proof as well, there was construction going across the road but when inside the apartment you can't hear anything. We booked here to go to a cirque du soleil show which wasn't even a 10 min walk away and then we had dinner on the waterfront close to the hotel - Lovely apartment, great location that suited our needs perfectly. Close to city, free transport using circle line tram to MCG & city. Etihad Stadium closeby. Mecure suggested Limo transfers from & to airport great value for 3 of us given late night arrival & early morning departure. Appreciated being escorted to our apt by Manager. Will definitely stay again.

  Everything about Heyfield Motel and Apartment was fantastic. Of the many motels/apartments I've stayed in, I dare conclude my experience with Heyfield is easily one of my bests. The entire apartment was extremely well-maintain - We (4 adults) stayed in a 2-bedroom self-contained apartment for a night on our way to Sydney. It's a good place for stopover. Location is good as it's located on the Esplanade just a short stroll from shops and restaurants. The booking-in staff (guess it was the owners) were very helpful.   We stayed at Plum Southbank for one night prior to an over seas trip. It was a convenient location to the Restaurant Tram which we can recommend and easy access back to the airport.   We stayed in a king room with a bay view. It was most excellent. The staff was very friendly and even offered to carry our luggage to the second floor. We also enjoyed the pub and dinner. Also clear the owners are investing in some upgrades with new carpeting and some appointments. The kitchen was so well kitted out, and the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful.   There was a pleasant atmosphere and the big space of the reception area was inviting. My room was very clean, lovely and modern. The Bathroom was also very modern and of a good size. I requested to have a quiet room which was accomodated. It was good to have a small desk as well for working purposes. There was plenty of storage. I have also stayed at the Ibis in Brisbane, and I have been imp - The front desk staff were excellent. So helpful. We were in Melbourne looking for a flat for our daughter so had some paperwork to do. Staff did some photocopying and faxing for us and it was no trouble for them.(We had our own laptop and internet) We needed a carpark and were able to have one. I n a visit a few weeks before the weather was very hot and they gave us an iceblock and cold drink on our return from house hunting. Very thoughtful-full marks. We will certainly visit again.

  Hotel was fine and located close to the main shopping/restaurant areas which is the main reason I believe you would stay here - especially for us with a 6mth old we didn't want to have to load up the car everytime we wanted to fo anywhere. We've stayed in many hotels/motels and thought that this hotel was a little pricey compared to other options ... vad folk säger » in the area. One note for those with kids who still need a stroller, try to book a room on the ground floor as the heritage listed elevator is very sm - The unit was well appointed had everything we required. The proximity to the city centre was great. Parking onsite was appreciated. The speed of check in and check out was really fast. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful real country hospitality. The supplied items was extensive not that I needed it but the fact that laundry powder was supplied was pretty impressive.
