Staff were very friendly and helpful. The downstairs rooms were lovely, it's easy to see what a great house the building must once have been. The room was excellent value for money, especially as the price included breakfast, and the location is good, only 10 mins walk down the hill into Bath. Don't let your satnav take you through the scary backs

V friendly staff - good setting up the hill from the city but with a fine view from upper floors - bedroom was functional clean comfortable with a v powerful shower - and although the decor was a little tired and dated it added to the overall feel of an old English hotel from years ago - so whilst that could seem negative in fact it added to the fun of the one night stay.

good and warm welcome food was excellent and room . you get what it says on the lable take no notice of nagative reviews it wasent anythink like they said t realy enjoyed my stay and i would stay there again - The rooms were excellent and the location was just right. We have stayed before and the standards have varied but we were very comfortable. Warn against over zealous staff. We were challenged for "running" on the first morning. - room decor was lovely with a clear view over the cathedral.The food was of very good quality and reasonably priced, the staff were friendly and helpful

The room was so much more than basic. We found it very inviting as soon as we walked in. The evening meal was done to perfection, and breakfast would satisfy anybody. - The staff were all very efficient and friendly and the surroundings were second to none.

Excellent location for stop over encounters to Cornwall from our home in Berkshire. The very helpful receptionist could not have been more pleasant. Gave us local knowledge of places to eat nearby rather than motorway services. We found a nice pub restuarant called The Worlds End. letsbookhotel.com had not bothered passing on my request, ie:- plug near bed
or extention lead for my breathing machine I have to sleep with. Also
requested via letsbookhotel.com, room near the reception, as walking disabled,
but none of the above was passed onto the Hotel by letsbookhotel.com.
