I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the lovely receptionist even offered to help carry my bag for me. Quite a difference from the typical inner city European Hotel. They have an excellent Italian Restaurant which the locals seem to love. Even on a Sunday evening we had to wait for a table. Be sure to make a reservation the morning before. Food is excellent at a great price. Breakfast is terrific.

It was a very nice stay, beautiful house, very nice room, quiet suroundings. Lovely hosts, Una and Hamish were very helpful and extremly pleasant (I know, lots of adjectives here, but this is how we felt), we've got a lot of useful information about the places we went to visit. Excellent breakfast (I particularly loved the scrambled eggs with salmon). We would definetly like to come back.

Evelyn the owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, it was clean and comfortable, somewhere you could relax after a long day sightseeing. The garden was furnished with seats for the guests and there was also a guest lounge. The continental breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice and Evelyn was happy to provide more should you require it. I would certainly visit again and recommend this hotel to friends.

Owners are friendly and the place is cheap and cheerful. I paid £42, so didn't expect a posh hotel.
Radiator means you can have room as warm as you want.
Bed was really comfy and 2 big pillows although 1 had a plastic cover inside it and made a lot of noise everytime you moved
