On check in I thought it was a nice gesture to be upgraded free of charge into the new room which was really spacious and modern. I thought all the staff were really helpful and friendly and they really made the stay here enjoyable. We had breakfast which was the best breakfast I have had in a hotel. The service from arrival to departure was outstanding, staff were very friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble - we were made to feel really special. The room was spotless, the super king size bed was blissfully comfortable. The hotel is in a very convenient location and easy to find. This was 5-star luxury at a very reasonable rate. -

the executive suite was spacious and clean and good value for money
the breakfast was lovely enough variety and very quick service
the location was easy to get to and was far enough from the centre and traffic so it wasn't noisy but close enough that it was cheap in taxi to the centre
didn't eat in the actual restaurant but looked very nice and drink prices from the bar were reasonable
loved that they let us extend our room for 2hrs for £1
