  On check in I thought it was a nice gesture to be upgraded free of charge into the new room which was really spacious and modern. I thought all the staff were really helpful and friendly and they really made the stay here enjoyable. We had breakfast which was the best breakfast I have had in a hotel.   Stayed their recently while visitng my wife's famlily in the UK. To be honest the hotel was not our first choice, however we booked because it was a very convienient location. It turned out to be a great choice and great value. The hotel and restaurant has lots of character and charm, which is hard to find in the chain hotels. We did eat at the resta - The staff were very friendly and had plenty of parking the executive suite was spacious and clean and good value for money the breakfast was lovely enough variety and very quick service the location was easy to get to and was far enough from the centre and traffic so it wasn't noisy but close enough that it was cheap in taxi to the centre didn't eat in the actual restaurant but looked very nice and drink prices from the bar were reasonable loved that they let us extend our room for 2hrs for £1
