  Great, clean room. Fair size in Japan standards. Great spa on the roof available to guests for free, which I made use of almost every day. Staff speaks good English, which is also rare in Japan. - Design is very modern, hot spring in top floor is excellent. Drink machine in 7th floor with ice provided. Fantastic!! Staffs are nice and helpful.

  Loved the hotel's location. It's very accessible from the Osaka Park Subway Stop on the JR Loop. Makes it super easy to get around and it's lovely to get up early and go for a walk in the park! We paid extra for a room with a castle view and it was well worth it. However I couldn't tell the room we had was a smoking room to begin with, and my nose is very sensitive and I had n - The castle-view room at the 12th floor is very spacious for a couple. You have a nice view of the Osaka Castle & Park and the river. The nearest station is Osaka-jokoen, a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There is a convenience store at the nearby building but it closes at 11pm. From the Kansai airport (night arrival), it is more convenient to take the airport limo bus to Hankyu Hotel, then take the taxi to New Otani.

The Shinjuku building nearby has great food, and opens till early in the morning, which is quite rare in Osaka. I requested for a better vie - Plus points 1) The hotel is directly opposite Tennoji Station which is one of the major stations in Osaka. 2) It is about 100 meters from the front door of the Hotel to the train platform for the train to the airport. You don't have to drag your luggages for long distances. 3) The room size is big for Japanese standards.4) The bathroom is superb very bright and filled with full bathroom amenities.5) The toilet seat is heated.6) The shower is great. It is easy to control the water temperature.
