  This was a convenient hotel to stay a day before boarding a cruise ship in Kobe. It was within walking distance from the train station. Front desk graciously held our luggage a couple of hours after we checked out before we could board the ship. - The accommodations were excellent and the in-house restaurants were superb (especially the Thai rest... hva folk sier » aurant).   When booking on the internet often what you see is not what you get. I am delighted to say that the Hotel Okura, Kobe certainly met with our expectations. The room despite being configured as a triple was still very spacious. It was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The panoramic view from our room was beautiful both day and night. The staff ... hva folk sier » were all very helpful and the service was impeccable and could not be faulted. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone consid - Large room for being Japan, luxurious, great amenities - you don't need to bring any supplies, great view from our room on the 24th floor. The location is good for accessing nearby Harborland for shopping, and also just a few blocks away from the high-end shops towards Motomachi. Shuttle bus to/from central station (Sannomiya) was very convenient. We stayed for a week and got a great price - back home we wouldn't even get an average business hotel for this price.
