  Great budget family run hotel with fabulous gourmet restaurant.Good location within walking distance to the center of Amboise. We stayed not in the main building but in separate cottage facing beautiful old garden. The staff was very helpful (the owner and his wife are always at the front desk). The food in the restaurant was amazing. Highly reco... hva folk sier » mmend. - We loved the marvellous staff who were fun and very helpful. The hotel was attractive and stylishly decorated and the room was charming. There is a delightful garden area and the meals at the restaurant were exceptional as was obvious from the locals who also were dining there. We had such a good time and would love to go back.

  The room was spacious and clean. Staffs at the hotel the restaurant were very kind. All the concerns for our small boy (renting the arm tube for swimming and high chair for dinner & breakfast) made our vacation more comfortable. Swimming pool and wide garden was perfect for a family with a small child. We would like to come back for another re... hva folk sier » laxed vacation. - Room was well appointed and big and quiet. Breakfast was terrific and well worth the Money. The restaurante is excelente and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful countryside and about 10 minutes to Amboise

  Stayed in room 14 which is a an upgrade room. Renovations were recently done and I would imagine we were one of the first few to stay in this room. The room was very large (bigger than US hotel rooms for sure) with a queen bed and two leather chairs along with a desk and a bureau (and TV). All the amenities provided. The location is great as its near the castle and the main walking street with all the cafes an - - Excellent location within the Loire Valley (Amboise is quite picturesque and charming) and adjacent to Royal Chateau Amboise; lots of shops/restaurants mere steps from hotel - easy access driving to chateaux in Loire Valley; free parking nearby - clean rooms; spacious for European standards - helpful staff; desk clerks spoke English well - good assortment at breakfast (breads, meats/cheeses, fruit, yogurt, coffe/tea/juice) in nice reatuarant with attentive staff - reasonable price
