  For the price offered it's a great place to stay in Paris. Service is generally ok, although the personnel could be more friendly, but they are quite ok for Parisian staff.   I fortunately stayed for 4 nights in large, clean and well equipped double room with also large and clean bathroom with bathtub that was provided by helpfull and friendly hotel receptionists who speak English very well. It's nice - The view from my bedroom window was beautiful! I had a double bed and a private bathroom and the whole atmosphere in the room was cozy and warm, excellent last night's stay in Paris. There was 24hr service and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of french speaking channels on the television and a nice breakfast to start the morning. The bathroom was very clean and had towels and all the facilities you could wish for one nights stay in Montmartre. - In fact, upon arrival, I did not like the area, but we discover that we were 20 sec from the metro station, so that became a big plus. The people at the hotel were great, they did the best they could to make us feel good. We arrived at night one evening and since we were with a 2year old, they let us use the breakfast room and the microwave , so I think that for the money we spend it is more than fair, also breakfast included, also a good point. Good beds, clean.

The room was a good size and very comfortable with lovely views across Paris and the Eiffel Tower - we paid more for a 4th floor room and it was worth it.   The view from the 5th floor! We had two corner rooms and there is a very small ledge balcony that can be accessed out the windows, but only on the 5th. Excellent view of Sac coer. The breakfast served at the hotel is a great value at 7 euro pp, get it! You won't find cheaper in this part of paris. Coffee, juice, breads, cereal, fruit, yogurt. But ... hva folk sier » it's all self serve, which we like. Very clean place, small, but for Paris sight seeing you're not spending that much time in the room anyway. Excelle - Reception staff (females) were very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable + clean, just be aware that street noise carries on till around midnight. Loved the small balcony (had a wonderful view of Saccra Coeur + the street below). Hotel is located within walking distance to Montmartre & Saccra Coeur, but far away from other sites, so have to use metro. Metro stations within walking distance.

Although the road in front of the hotel was very busy all night, you cannot hear the traffic once the window is closed. We left our luggage at the hotel after we checked out and only picked it up 7 hours later.
