Sonia and Dean were most helpful and really treated us as individually important - they were so helpful and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean and housekeeping impeccable. Meals were Great and always served on time. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you guys for a GREAT stay. The owners where very nice and helpful, I felt very welcome and found the owners Dean and Sonia down to earth and always trying to improve. The breakfast was hot on arrival to the room and first class. I will be using this motel every visit I make to Townsville.
alle vurderinger » Sonja and Dean were very helpful and friendly, helped us to choose a room right for 3 people travelling together. We ate ate the dining room and enjoyed each meal, finding the menu extensive and the food fresh. Will stay again. the accommodation with all facilities needed, It was very clean. The friendly and very kind lady and her husband welcome you and take time with you to give you advices about what to do around. The staff were very welcoming, even though we arrived after hours. Room was a delight! Very clean, modern facilities. The kids loved the morning swim in the large pool. Clean & Comfortable, excellent meals for a reasonable price. For a comfortable stay away from home would not hesitate to stay again while under present management. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay at Cascade Motel and have already recommended it to my friends here in Mount Isa. This was a value for money motel, a bit far out of the city centre but overall for a two night stay there are no complaints. There was nothing we didn't like. Could not find remote for TV. Not a thing. there is no negative feedback. Close proximity of fence and cars parked at the door on the other side of the unit. Maybe it would be better no to place a table outside in front of a room. Because if oter guests sit there and have a chat its quite disturbing for the guets inside the room. The bathroom could of been a little bit cleaner. Noise from the main road. Odd arrangement of your neighbours car parking outside your room (as opposed to your own) and poor sound proofing meant disturbance at night and early morning. Other loud drunk guests but this was not anything to do with the motel or owners. We found the motel rather noisy especially in the early morning. My daughter who was in Room 10 was bothered by the cigarette smoke coming into her room from the person smoking outside and also felt the walls were so thin - noise from the young people in the unit next door. I had to book a separate room for my daughter because we didn't want to share a bed! Maybe an option of some rooms with 2 single beds would be good as this cost us extra money that we hadn't budgeted for. A bit of road noise. Noisy guests near by past a reasonable hour late at night. nothing. Could not fault motel for what we were paying for.
